Hey HD, here would be a real scoop: figuring out and revealing how the pairings are arrived at at a given tournament.
If World Cup winners Rosales or Delasin are going to contend this week, they'll have to overcome tough starting times to do it! (Not that I think they deserve better, given their performance in recet years.)
Thanks for the name-change info, FB. That's one of the unique minor problems of following this Tour. Weddings (and divorces) can really mess you up! Not to mention the Asians who adopt Western names. It can really trip you up looking back 20 or 30 years.
My pairings knowledge comes down to this - in the first two rounds they set up two groups especially for TV. They use the money list or some kind of ranking system (I'll bet it's NOT the HD Top 30) to place others in good TV position. One thing is certain - if you want to follow a non-exempt player all around the course, you'll have to be on-site either at the crack of dawn or after dusk.
I guess what I don't understand is why they have their Thursday prime time so stacked compared to their Friday prime time pairings. Is it because they'll start following the leaders anyway on Friday, wherever they are? Or will they continue to follow the 3 groups they mostly covered today (from what I'm reading at Seoul Sisters)?

To hear me talk live about my favorite subject every week, check out "Inside The LPGA" at 7pm EDT every Tuesday night at PrimeSportsNetwork.com. Karen Palacios-Jansen and I will review the previous event and preview the upcoming week in the LPGA. If you miss the live broadcast, the archive of it will remain available until the next show goes out live.
I'm Ken Hartis, a forty-something dude from the Southeast USA. Grew up watching the Masters on TV every year. Started following the LPGA occasionally a few years ago, but really got addicted around the time Grace Park jumped in the water at the 2004 Kraft Nabisco. I like to think of my ladies' golf fanaticism as "my mid-life crisis". It's a lot cheaper than buying a Harley! Thanks for checking out the site, drop by anytime! I am going out on a limb and pick Annika to win going away.
Keep an eye on J Rosales for a surprise finish.
