Just last Thursday, I wrote about the three-week schedule gap in March between the HSBC in Singapore and the Safeway International. Well, I checked the link on the lpga.com home page just now and the MasterCard Classic Honoring Alejo Peralta is listed as being held March 14-16. Did anybody see an announcement for that? I struck out Googling for one. At the bottom of the schedule page is a date stamp - 01.16.08 - which indicates this was just added.
That gives the Tour a total of 33 official events for 2008. Can't complain about a lack of tournaments THIS year!
