With only three full-field events left to play (counting the one in progress), Angela Park has a 438-point lead on In-Kyung Kim. Since the maximum number of rookie points a player can earn in an event is 150, that would seem to mean that unless Inky wins this week, Angela will clinch the 2007 Rookie of the Year award.
I haven't seen any mention of this anywhere. I just noticed it while looking at a rookie stats graphic that TGC posted. Hopefully lpga.com is just doing its usual job of incomplete reporting and I'm not figuring this out wrong. Of course TGC didn't say anything about it either, so that makes my confidence a little shaky.
