Corona Championship - 3rd Round

Lorena Ochoa continues to show the way at the Corona Morelia Championship, posting a 68 on Saturday to lead by three shots going into the final round. Julieta Granada is second at -13, the only player within seven strokes of Ochoa.

Brandie Burton is in third place at -9. Christina Kim made the biggest move on "Moving Day" with a round of 65, putting her at -8 and tied for fourth. Morgan Pressel (my pick to win) shot 71 to finish the day -7, nine shots out of the lead.

Minea Blomqvist has given herself a shot at making the Money List Top 90 - she's currently T16 at -4. Another 67 like she had today would most likely give her the Top 10 finish she needs to have any chance at earning an exemption for 2007. Johanna Head and Michelle Ellis are in a tie for 31st with Alena Sharp (the player currently #90 on the List) so one of them may be playing head-to-head with Alena on Sunday with a Top 90 spot on the line. The duel in that potential pairing would probably be more dramatic than the battle for the victory, the way Ochoa is playing.
