Play was suspended due to hail and lightning at 3:40pm EDT at the CN Canadian Women’s Open and will resume Saturday morning at 8am. Lorena Ochoa posted a 68 (-10 overall) and remains the leader by two shots over Katherine Hull (65 -8) and Yani Tseng (-8 through 10 holes). The entire afternoon wave will have to finish their second rounds tomorrow morning with some players having completed only five holes so far. At the moment, the cut line is +3.
Round Three is expected to begin around noon with the top 70 players plus ties going off in threesomes from 1 and 10.
