Amy Yang's LET win and big heart

I've been busy catching up on real work and my routine bloggy stuff and neglected to mention this great item from the LET:

Amy Yang collected her first professional victory at the Ladies German Open this past weekend. And promptly donated her entire winner's check to the victims of the recent earthquake in China.

Yang has conditional status on the LPGA but has really been lighting up the LET. The 18-year-old is currently that Tour's leading money winner and finished second a week ago to Suzann Pettersen at the Ladies Swiss Open. I've been following Amy ever since hearing about her at SeoulSisters and am now a really big fan, despite having never seen her play. Expect to see a lot of her in the U.S. in the coming months and 2009.
