The player-status list for 2008 is available at lpga.com. At first glance I was disappointed that Ashley Hoagland's name wasn't there. But then I noticed this line:
Johnston, Ashley 8a
An article I read last summer said she was getting married (I forgot the name, though), and Code 8a means "qualified at the 2006 LPGA Final Qualifying Tournament" and received a "medical extension in 2007". Hey Bill Roberts - that has to be her, right?
