With the conclusion of the ADT Championship, the 2007 LPGA season is done. That can mean only one thing – actually it means a lot of things but what I had in mind was, it’s time for the Final 2007 Hound Dog Top 30 player rankings. There aren’t too many changes from the October rankings (the player’s previous rank is in parenthesis), especially at the top. I’ll be posting player comments separately, starting in the next day or two. So, without further ado…

Waiting to see how a struggling Pressel stays ahead of a streaking Seon Hwa Lee in your ranking.
Morgan is ahead of Seon Hwa because her win was a major. I don't give extra credit for being a better player recently - the entire year counts equally. Here are their stat lines:
Pressel - 9th in money, 6th in scoring, 8 Top 10s, 2 MCs
Lee - 5th in money, 10th in scoring, 8 Top 10s, 2 MCs
Pretty even, yes? The bonus points for the major victory rank Morgan 5th.

It was encouraging to see Natalie come from 25 to 18 in the ratings. I see Natalie is heading for the Dubai Masters in a few weeks, will this tournament count in the ratings?
OK, I get it; looking over the stats at my latest Super Soph ranking, I see Morgan is even ahead of Seon Hwa in birdies per round this year. Since I'm looking at careers there, I have Lee with the lead.
