After two rounds, Jane Park leads the way at the LPGA Final Qualifying Tournament. Park (-9) is three shots ahead of Kelli Kuehne and four clear of Hee Young Park and Tracy Hanson. The full rundown of scores are here.
Among the others in good position with two rounds to go before the cut are South African prodigy Ashleigh Simon (-4), Tour vet Meredith Duncan (-4), Liz Janangelo (-3 and a winner on the ’07 Futures Tour), 2006 Futures Tour champion Song Hee Kim (-2) and Virada Nirapathpongporn (-1). Those in trouble include Paige Mackenzie (+5), Monday qualifying wonder-girl Sophia Sheridan (+5), Celeste Troche (+8) and Nikki Garrett (+9). Garrett’s round of 83 on Thursday has all but eliminated her.
