Wow. A round of 63 puts Suzann Pettersen in complete control of the Honda LPGA Thailand. Pettersen leads by seven shots (-20) going into the final round. Laura Davies is second at -13 with Paula Creamer third at -12. No one else is closer than 11 strokes.
Suzann certainly solved her Friday bogey problems – none on Saturday – while rattling off nine birdies, five of them over her last seven holes. Davies and Creamer both posted their second straight round of 66 and STILL lost three shots to the leader. Alena Sharp was in second starting the day but only got home in 72, and is now 11 behind and tied for fourth.
Annika Sorenstam carded her second 68 in as many days to reach the Top 10 at -8. Hee-Won Han’s 72 dropped her back to T16. Morgan Pressel has made a nice comeback from her opening 75 – she’s now T18 at -4. Siew-Ai Lim is still only 57th out of 60 players but she posted a 68 on Saturday, 13 shots better than her Friday score.
