Lorena Ochoa holds a one-stroke lead over Stacy Prammanasudh going into the final round at the Navistar Classic. Maria Hjorth and Virada Nirapathpongporn are tied for third at -9 four shots back. Angela Stanford is fifth at -8 and Nicole Castrale is sixth at -7.
I didn’t see the coverage on TGC yesterday (too many great college football upsets to see!) so I hope you’ll pardon the short post. Looks like the scoring conditions were tougher as only eight players (including Ochoa) managed rounds in the 60s. Lorena outdueled Stacy by four shots in their head-to-head confrontation, but Stacy will get another shot at the world’s Number One today. I’ll have the usual details for you later today.
