The Rolex Rankings are being modified again, apparently to reduce the extra credit a player gets for playing well on the Japanese, Korean and European tours (as opposed to playing well in LPGA events). As you probably know, one of my complaints about their method has been that it produces results that seem to rank the international players too highly, especially the Japanese Tour ones. The changes take effect with next week's rankings.
This is at least the third major modification to the women's Rolex Rankings since they debuted at the beginning of 2006. The fact that they are continuing to tweak them is a very positive thing.
