Play was suspended for a little more than two hours due to weather this afternoon, and it appears that not everyone will be able to finish 18 holes before it gets dark. As of 7pm EDT, Cristie Kerr is the leader after shooting a 66. Alena Sharp is one shot back with Suzann Pettersen and Mi Hyun Kim (thru 17) two strokes behind. Stacy Prammanasudh withdrew prior to the start of play with an injured thumb.
I'll post a full first-round recap tomorrow morning after the round is completed.
